Vosens is a bread paradise
I've been a loyal customer of Vosen's for the past year and I'm continuously reminded why every time I go in there. I get my Ciabattas but every once in a while they throw in a little something extra. So I go there not only because the quality is outstanding, but the customer service and friendliness is superb. Charina is awesome.

Repentance and Aggravation
In the past I've eaten the following at my desk which I did know was noisy, but figured I could just do so discretely and quietly which we all know is nearly impossible:
I should be thrust down to hell for this I know. So I hereby repent of these iniquities and vow to never eat noisy foods at my desk. The reason for this change of heart? Fellow employees are eating these foods at their desk and man is it annoying! I end up plugging my headphones in and blasting some good tunes, but I can still hear it!
If I have worked with you and annoyed you in the past, from the bottom of my heart, please forgive me and know that I am now in the circle of more polite employees. I will try to be more mindful of my annoying activities at work and avoid them at all costs.
Listen to this and tell me if this wouldn't really bug you.
- apples
- baby carrots
- corn nuts
- pretzels
- chex mix
- mini rice cakes
- slurping the last few drops of soda out of a cup through a straw

St. Patricks Day 2009
Last night I had a plan to wake up this morning and make a green breakfast for the kids. I got my new swimsuits yesterday, but decided that there are times to be a exercise fanatic, and times to be a Dad so I was the latter this morning.
So I woke up and made green pancakes and green scrambled eggs for the kids for breakfast.
They didn't flinch at the color and just ate everything right up. Here are some pictures:

Response from President Obama
Recently I sent President Obama a message welcoming him to office and mentioned my hope for a better country. Here is his response which I got today:
Dear Gordon:
Thank you for your recent note, and for sharing your thoughts with me. Your kind words echo the messages of millions of Americans who have welcomed me and my family to the White House with an outpouring of goodwill.
On January 20th, Americans spoke with one voice, choosing hope over fear, unity of purpose over conflict and discord. Our Nation faces serious challenges, but we will overcome them if our imagination is joined to common purpose.
Now is our time to work together, reaffirm our enduring spirit, and choose our better history. With your help, we will renew our Nation's promise to carry forth the great gift of freedom to future generations, as our forebears have delivered it
to us.
Sincerely,
Barack Obama
Making something for you
Here's an offer for the first five commenters of this post. I will make something for you.
1. I'm pretty sure you will like what I make.
2. What I create will be just for you.
3. It will be done within 6 months.
4. You are supposed to offer the same deal on your blog.
Make your offer on your own blog first before leaving a comment so you can leave a link to your post with the offer. Then I'll get busy.

Chris Pirillo - a geek who bugs me
I don't mean to give this guy more attention, but dang! I wish he were my little brother and I give him a noogie he'd never forget!

Every once in a while I come across someone who totally grates me. I was listening to cnn.com live and I've seen this tech guy twice and I had to turn it off.
Chris Pirillo is a self-proclaimed Geek who reviews stuff and does a vlog. Just the way he talks totally bugs me. He's a small guy with a big head. If he were right here I'd break his little pencil neck (figuratively speaking).
On the other hand, there are guys at my work who gave me the same first impression, but after getting to know them, I've been able to look past my perception of them.
If you're bored and checkout his site, tell me if you think he's annoying or if I'm just ultra-sensitive and need to chill.

It's a Dump Truck Dad!

This morning I was helping Sam get out of the bath and get dressed. He is going through potty training right now (I know it's late and its about time!). He has some "Cars" underwear and on the back of this morning's pair was this character.
Sam wanted to see who was on his underwear and I said, "It's a truck from Cars. Cool! Now Sam don't you poop on the truck. You keep him dry and clean!" Isaac who was still in the tub, piped up, "Dad it's not just ANY truck. It's a dump truck!". I was shocked. Did he know what he was saying? I answered, "Well don't you fill up that Dump Truck Sam!" It was funny.
